Introducing Traditional Chinese Medicine, Taoism, 24-Solar and the concept of Yin & Yang. Where does the Yin & Yang energy come from in our everyday life? How are you going to balance Yin & Yang energy through your own practice and observation? Techniques include: self-observation for our body and breathe, living with 24-Solar and enhancing our health with nature and proper diet, knowledge of acupuncture points and self-massages.
Teaching Methodology (TM)
Understanding the Qi by practicing with pranayama, yin & yang yoga, and visualizing or diversifying our energy during the practice.
Anatomy & Physiology (AP)
Introducing TCM 5 element theory and the relation with our organs. Understanding how yin yoga helps us to build flexibility and mobility.
Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle & Ethics (YPLE)
The Huangdi Neijing (given the title The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Medicine in one of the latest translations) is an ancient treatise on health and disease said to have been written by the famous Chinese emperor Huangdi around 2600 BC. The key to a long healthy life is to follow the Tao, the natural way of the universe. Health and illness are caused by an imbalance of the two basic forces, yin and yang, and by the influence of the five elements (water, fire, metal, wood, and earth) on the organs of the body. Therefore, understanding your element will help to have a guideline for your life.
Once the assignments and practicums are completed, you will be able to registered 20-hours CE hours from Yoga Alliance. And 20 training hours of YogaShe 300 hours yoga teacher training course.
